Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 31, 2013 -- Private Island Entertainment is a party and costume supply company based in New York. This Halloween season, the company has planned to attempt to set two Guinness World Records in their coast-to-coast record breaking Halloween campaigns.
"Private Island wants to push the social norm of costuming to every day not just Halloween we are going to make it happen and we will start by breaking a world record." Said Jon Glatt, President of the company.
The first record will be attempted in New York in mid September in conjunction with a model search. The second record attempt will be held on the west coast in partnership with a Los Angeles-based charity, A Place Called Home, during their annual Halloween Party. Private Island Entertainment LLC will supply costumes for both events.
“Halloween is a fun scary time, but can also be dangerous in a bad way in our neighborhood, where it’s really not safe to be walking after sundown. Every year, we have a big Halloween Fest at APCH, and this year is going to be extra special as we set a new Guinness World Record—the kids are going to have a blast!” says A Place Called Home’s executive director, Jonathan Zeichner.
A Place Called Home is a non-profit youth center. Their goal is to help youth stay in school, pursue higher education, and enjoy successful careers. They give underserved youth the tools they need to develop into active, contributing citizens and community leaders.
