Problem Medford Property Being Revitalized with the Help of State Attorney General and A&E’s “Flipping Boston”
Norwood, MA (PRWEB) August 29, 2013 -- Wednesday August 21 saw filming of O’LYN Roofing’s sixth episode of A&E’s “Flipping Boston” and a visit from State Attorney General Martha Coakley and Medford Mayor Michael J. McGlynn. The property became vacant and fell into disrepair, and turned into a problem for neighbors on a quiet and well-kept block in the Town of Medford. It’s proximity directly across the street from a school gave it all the more a sense of urgency to act, and that was about the time the producers of the A&E Television Network’s top-rated show “Flipping Boston” got involved.
The property is being completely renovated from top to bottom and featured on “Flipping Boston”, with hosts Dave Seymour and Peter Souhleris of CityLight Homes handling the project in typical capable fashion with the usual comic relief. The episode features O’LYN production manager Todd Mellor working with Dave to resolve a serious roofing issue while doing a full strip and reshingle on the house in the company’s usual timely fashion. The two days on set culminate in a tour of the property by the State Attorney General and Mayor discussing the project with Dave and Pete.
