Produced Water Society Gathers for 26th Annual Seminar in January
Houston, Texas (PRWEB) January 07, 2016 -- The 26th Annual Produced Water Society Seminar is taking place January 26th – 28th at the Omni Houston Westside Hotel in Houston, TX. This year’s theme will be “Strategies for Water Treatment in a Low Dollar Environment” and will be focused on maximizing efficiency without sacrificing quality. This year’s agenda will feature not only produced water, but also innovations and breakthroughs in treatment of flowback and waterflood. Register for the Seminar here.
Among the changes this year, the program was put together by a Technical Committee composed of volunteering members of the Society. Additionally, PWS will be piloting exhibition space this year, with exhibitors including Sourcewater, Enviro-Tech Systems, US Department of the Interior, and Dow Water & Process. Among many great speakers, the seminar will also host 2 panel discussions. The first will take place during dinner on Tuesday night and will feature water treatment specialists from BP, Chevron, and ConocoPhillips focused on cost savings. The second panel will happen on Thursday morning after a session of presentations on the shales and will have water experts from Chesapeake, ConocoPhillips, Schlumberger, and the Texas Water Recycling Association discuss water management for shale developments.
