Professional Photographers of America Opens Registration for Imaging USA 2016
ATLANTA, Ga. (PRWEB) July 28, 2015 -- Registration for Professional Photographers of America’s annual photography convention and tradeshow is now open.
Imaging USA 2016 will be held January 10 to 12 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. More than 10,000 industry professionals will take on Atlanta over three days of photography education and inspiration as well as some exclusive shopping.
Imaging USA is the longest running international photographic convention, tradeshow and image exhibition in the world, drawing thousands of photographers from across the globe. The event dates back to 1880, when it began as the annual convention and tradeshow for Professional Photographers of America (PPA). It continues to grow and evolve along with industry trends and technology.
A few major components of Imaging USA include the three-day Imaging Expo tradeshow, featuring more than 600 booths, several all-inclusive parties and more than 100 speeches, presentations and hands-on demonstrations by some of the most respected names in the photographic industry. Imaging USA’s renowned educational classes are geared to improve a photographer’s business skills, photographic repertoire and use of technologies. The event also features mentoring opportunities, portfolio reviews and much more.
New to Imaging USA this year is the “Avenue,” a section of the exhibit floor featuring seating and a designated place to network. There will also be a special keynote address from a renowned motivational speaker, to be announced later. The Imaging USA 2016 closing party will be held at the Georgia Aquarium.
Imaging USA is the annual first major photography event of the year where photographers seek to kick-start their business. Attendees typically leave Imaging USA feeling reinvigorated toward photography.
