Led by the company’s original Founders, this success qualifies Prognosis customers to take advantage of key operational benefits and receive federal stimulus monies upon demonstrating meaningful use of the technology, important to meeting the federal push for adoption of EHRs by all U.S. healthcare providers.
In addition to being evaluated against foundation standards such as HIPAA security, certified inpatient products are examined for their product functionality in regard to operational items including clinician order entry, documentation strength, and medication administration capabilities. Meeting the more stringent 2014 standards included additions to the ChartAccess software such as a barcode medicine administration, patient portal, increased state reporting requirements, and clinical quality measures (CQMs). All of these requirements are seamlessly managed by Prognosis clients through ChartAccess’ state of the art Meaningful Use Scorecard®, which provides real-time tracking tools to successfully manage progress towards CMS required Meaningful Use measurements.
