Project Lifesaver Introduces New Personal Locating System the PLI-1000
Port St. Lucie, FL (PRWEB) June 17, 2015 -- Project Lifesaver International is pleased to announce a new personal locating system helping to address wandering and elopement for loved ones from all angles by introducing the PLI-1000. The PLI-1000 is the newest radio frequency based tracking receiver that will be available to members and caregivers as an option to locate their loved one should they have a wandering incident.
The PLI-1000 is now available for caregivers through the Project Lifesaver store in both Project Lifesaver member and non-member areas. If a caregiver purchases a PLI-1000 in a Project Lifesaver area, the Project Lifesaver member agency can provide support to the caregiver in locating their loved one that wander using its existing Project Lifesaver technology.
"The PLI-1000 serves as an extension to the tried and true Project Lifesaver radio frequency technology of telemetry which we have been using since the Project Lifesaver program began over sixteen years ago. This offers a resource to help caregivers locate their loved one should they wander, especially in locations that do not have the program or with poor cell coverage," said CEO/Founder, Gene Saunders of Project Lifesaver International.
The PLI-1000, like other Project Lifesaver receivers operates off the 216 range and will be pre-set for caregiver's at one single unique frequency. The PLI-1000 Kit will also include one 60-day transmitter, a tester, one year of batteries and bracelets, and an instructional guide.
