Prominent Mortgage and Consumer Compliance Attorney Alan Clark Joins Williams Mullen
(PRWEB) December 18, 2013 -- Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Alan Clark, a 20 year veteran of the mortgage lending and banking industry, has joined the firm as a Partner in the Financial Services and Real Estate group. He will be working out of the Richmond office.
Mr. Clark has significant experience in residential mortgage lending law/compliance, mortgage-related software licensing and complex commercial contract drafting and negotiation, and can provide legal advice and counsel while mindful of facilitating business goals and strategic growth. He has served as general counsel or senior legal counsel to several companies in the industry, including Bank of America, Lending Tree, Crestar Mortgage and other national and regional mortgage companies, and has a thorough understanding of federal and state laws and regulations.

Mr. Clark is a graduate of the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary, where he earned his Juris Doctorate. He also earned a B.S. in Commerce, specializing in Finance and Management, from the University of Virginia.
