Prominent Regulatory Experts to Speak at DIA’s Special Symposium after PMDA Forum
Tokyo, Japan (PRWEB) January 20, 2014 -- High profile representatives from the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA), the European Medicines Agency (EMA), the World Health Organization (WHO) and regulatory authorities around the world are to speak at DIA Japan’s Special Symposium, to be held in Tokyo following the PMDA Forum.
This year's PMDA Forum, to be held on February 8, will commemorate the organization’s 10th anniversary. DIA Japan, supported by the PMDA, has invited high profile speakers who will attend the forum to present at a Special Symposium at Sola City Hall on the following day, February 9.
The symposium will focus on the question of how innovative products can be delivered expeditiously to patients worldwide, and will highlight the role of regulatory authorities and industry. Attendees will enjoy open discussion with speakers from around the world on topics such as global policies and the environment for innovative drug development from political, regulatory, social, scientific and technological perspectives, with the aim of contributing to future global health.
