Propane Engine Fuel Summit Attracted Thousands
Oak Hill, VA (PRWEB) April 10, 2014 -- The daylong Propane Engine Fuel Summit is now available online at no cost.
Last month’s summit attracted 100 industry professionals at the Irving Convention Center in Dallas while 750 more folks watched it online through live streaming. About 250 more already have viewed it through the archives.
Now in its fourth year, the event featured 25 top industry speakers, including fleet managers operating their fleets with autogas, vehicle and mower manufacturers, and executives from supporting organizations such as Propane Education and Resource Council (PERC), the Industrial Truck Association and the Green Truck Association.
“TSN Communications was able to bring to one location a wealth of industry expertise to discuss the latest technologies and trends,” said Tucker Perkins, PERC’s chief development officer and the summit’s moderator. “The summit provides a great forum to deliberate where we need to focus to continue the rapid development of engine technologies throughout the United States.”
The speakers presented different perspectives and insights, but overall encouraged a resounding theme of working together to achieve a common goal. ROUSH CleanTech’s president Joe Thompson homed in on the new processes in place at ROUSH CleanTech to ensure quality products. John Roselli, director of alternative fuels at Blue Bird, addressed safety and customer stories. And Curtis Donaldson, founder of CleanFUEL USA, encouraged all sectors of the industry — from mowers to fueling stations to school buses — to work together. He suggested that industry professionals see each other as partners, not competitors.
