ProPatterns Expands Marketing Relationship with BassEast
Yankton, South Dakota (PRWEB) October 21, 2013 -- Since its inception six years ago, BassEast has served as an independent organization dedicated to bringing pro angling fans the latest in tournament results, fishing techniques, regional angler profiles, tips from the pros, and the latest news and events regarding the next generation of bass fishing.
The “For Anglers, By Anglers” organization serves the Mid-Atlantic region, but has evolved and grown with the increasing popularity of the BassEast.com website. Ricky Bodsford, President of BassEast, tells ProPatterns that “the organization started off on the east coast to fill a need for exposure for those talented regional anglers who weren’t getting the promotional push many of the top rated stars in the sport were seeing.”
“We definitely deal with the superstars,” Bodsford tells ProPatterns, “but we also bring a lot of anglers to the table who wouldn’t necessarily get that sort of national exposure. While BassEast promotes top level pros, we also work hard to promote the next big thing and strive to serve as an avenue for the upcoming stars.”
Serving as an avenue to promote upcoming stars and the hottest new trends, BassEast entered into a marketing relationship with ProPatterns for the recent DVD release of Season 2 of Exposed after promoting the online premiers in early 2013, and plans to extend its promotion of the Exposed series when Season 3 premiers online in 2014.
Of the Exposed series, Bodsford explains, “Exposed puts the viewer in a unique position they won’t get anywhere else, in the boat with those pro anglers, the way it really is on the water—raw.”
The second season of Exposed comes in an eight-disk DVD collection, offering over 16 hours of fishing entertainment. The DVD features 24 pro anglers, each with their own Exposed episode, as they study and practice on competition waters across North America during the days leading up to championship tournaments. Members of ProPatterns have the opportunity to order the DVD collection at a 20% discount through the month of October.
Though fishing enthusiasts have many shows they can watch, Bodsford says, “Exposed isn’t about tournament jerseys or glamour, it’s about all the hard work these pros put into the sport—the long days, the long drives—real life.
