ProRehab Louisville Announces Partnership with Apex Physical Therapy
Louisville, KY (PRWEB) April 15, 2015 -- ProRehab Louisville, a private practice physical therapy company, is pleased to announce their partnership with locally owned Apex Physical Therapy. The merger allows ProRehab Louisville, who recently announced their partnership with Physical Therapy Plus, to provide top-of-the-line physical therapy services to residents from a total of eight locations across Louisville. The partnership is expected to close in 30 days.
Apex Physical Therapy CEO Patrick Myers, PT, DPT, OCS, MS, COMT, and managing partners Nicholas Austin, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, and Brad Conder, PT, DPT, OCS will remain integrally involved, as will their staff members at each location. Myers is Louisville’s only Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT), a certification that entails vigorous training. Their four clinics, located in Middletown, Hillview, LaGrange, and on River Road, will move to a combined brand with ProRehab Louisville.
“When we decided to re-enter our hometown market, we reached out to the best locally owned private practices. There is a long standing history and collaboration between myself, Patrick, Nick, and Brad and we are thrilled to be working together again through this partnership,” said ProRehab Principle Dr. Larry Benz, PT, DPT, OCS, MBA. “For over ten years now, Apex has been providing quality specialty physical therapy care to Louisville. This merger gives us the opportunity to bring three of Louisville’s private practice industry leaders together, elevating clinical, customer service, and care excellence to unprecedented levels in Louisville. We are the best first choice in physical therapy.”
“I have always respected Patrick’s work and I know that he will add tremendous value to our group. His leadership and advocacy for the profession has been invaluable and I look forward to working with a professional of his caliber,” said PT Plus Owner David Boyce, PT, EdD, OCS, ECS. “I look forward to this partnership.”
The merger between ProRehab Louisville and Apex Physical Therapy will emphasize the advantages of local ownership and the benefits it brings to a healthcare environment where mandates from out of state companies have set an unfortunate standard of depersonalized service based on high volume and overutilization, also driving up costs. ProRehab is now the largest locally owned private practice in Louisville and will drive superior outcomes and provide cost savings for employers across its 8 convenient clinics and employer onsite locations by using the most up-to-date research, cutting edge technology, and special training in compassionate, empathetic, and positive care.
“The merger between Apex and ProRehab Louisville was a natural move given our shared history with Larry,” said Myers. “Partnering with ProRehab Louisville and PT Plus allows us the opportunity to greatly expand the reach of high quality care in Louisville. I look forward to seeing how the merger benefits our patients and our city.”
Services include manual physical therapy, pain management, orthopaedic physical therapy, sports physical therapy, Titlest Performance Institue golf instruction, and industrial medicine. All clinics will offer MyPhysicalTherapist, a concierge physical therapy service that gives patients exclusive access to their physical therapist with a number of enhanced member benefits designed to manage health and wellness across many spectrums. Additionally, ProRehab Louisville is the only Louisville-area practice with the AlterG® Anti-Gravity Treadmill® , Nike 360 golf training, and a medically supervised sports enhancement program available to patients.
