Prositions Reports Record Revenue Growth in 2014
Des Moines, IA (PRWEB) January 27, 2015 -- Last year was a huge year for Prositions, Inc., a leading provider of virtual mentoring software and coaching solutions. They contribute much of that success to the launch of their cloud-based software application, MentorString and the development of a new market segment called Virtual Mentoring Solutions (VMS).
The estimated global market for employee coaching and mentoring is $15 billion with a majority of that spent by North American organizations. What differentiates Prositions in this developing market is a combination of its cloud-based software application, a network of national and international coaches, and a supplementary suite of proprietary content.
“In 2014, we saw a significant growth in our revenue of 85%,” said Sam Gill, CFO of Prositions. “We’ve steadily seen tremendous growth year after year since our inception in 2011. We’ve also added several signature clients who are boosting our international footprint.”
To help fuel this rapid expansion, the company successfully closed another angel round of investments of $2 million in capital, bringing the total, since founding, to over $5 million. “While out leading the charge to raise investment funds, my team worked hard expanding the company, developing and building new customer relationships, and launching MentorString, and I’m very pleased with our results,” said Frank Russell, CEO. “I’m proud of the success we have seen this past year, and I’m also eager to continue expanding and capturing market share in 2015.”
Prositions’ local growth in Iowa has also been significant in 2014, with a 58% increase in staff (43% worldwide). They doubled their office space at their headquarters in Urbandale, IA and increased payroll by 48%.
In addition, Prositions implemented a new IT intern program for high school students participating in the HyperStream initiative sponsored by the Technology Association of Iowa (TAI). “Hiring IT interns has been very successful for us, and beneficial to their development.” says Robin Salsberry, President of Prositions. “One of the objectives of the TAI program is to encourage more young women to explore technology careers and we’re solid supporters of that kind of an initiative.”
