Protagonist Overcomes False Accusations, Poverty in New Novel
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (PRWEB) February 23, 2015 -- Author First lady Robin S. Thompson focuses on the power of prayer and the possibilities of hopes and dreams in her new novel, “Teardrops in the Wind” (published by AuthorHouse).
Based on Thompson’s childhood memories, family members and personal experiences, “Teardrops in the Wind” tells the heartfelt story of a fictitious single mother’s life above crime, despite being wrongfully accused, and the constant struggles and sacrifices she made for her children.
“I think many people can relate to some of the issues in my book at some point in their lives,” Thompson says. “This drama revolves around family bonds that never seem to fade, no matter how much time passes.”
Through faith and God’s will, Thompson’s protagonist breaks a vicious cycle of despair, low self-esteem, crime and poverty. Thompson hopes her book reminds readers not to judge other people who do not have the same amount of education in life and that those people are still worthy of respect.
