The new campaign fundraises for SafeHaven of Tarrant County, which provides emergency shelter and a continuum of care to women and children fleeing domestic violence. SafeHaven operates the largest and most comprehensive domestic violence shelters in Tarrant County, from which women and children fleeing the horrors of domestic violence may find an escape from the destructive cycle of abuse. Their mission is to end domestic violence through safety, support, prevention and social change. In addition to providing a crisis hotline and 24-hour care at two emergency shelters, their holistic facilities provide a safety net of services and support to establish and sustain self-sufficiency, such as counseling, education, life skills and improved employment opportunities.
