Provo, Utah Wellness Center, I Can Move Again, Announces Additional Events to Celebrate Their Grand Opening
Provo, UT (PRWEB) November 22, 2013 -- I Can Move Again, the world’s first fitness and wellness center designed especially for joint-pain sufferers, would like to report our Grand Opening Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony on Monday, November 19 was a success.
I Can Move Again received enough community response from people who could not attend the Monday afternoon celebration, that we are continuing the celebration Friday evening with a first ever “Mobility Date Night” (4:30 – 8:30 PM) and gala party on Saturday morning 9 AM to 1 PM - with a special Meet-And-Greet with Sharlene Wells Hawkes - former Miss Utah and Miss America.
Those wishing to take a sneak peak, and tour this one-of-a-kind facility, are invited to attend the festivities. To add to the festive atmosphere, gourmet foods and deserts will be provided by Janet’s Kitchen. Door prizes and other goodies add excitement to the grand opening- as well as a chance to meet three local inventors whose unique fitness equipment is proudly featured at I Can Move Again.
The festivities will be at our brand-new facility at 2365 Mountain Vista Ln. in Provo. For more information visit our website at http://www.Icanmoveagain.com or call 888-968-ICan (4226).
Coming out of anesthesia for the eighth time for an arthritis procedure, and looking at an immediate future that included artificial joints, long time Provo resident Jack Mahoney knew he had to find another path.
Jack discovered that arthritis does not just affect the body, but the mind and spirit as well. He realized that any approach that has a chance of addressing the impact of arthritis will have to involve the body, mind and spirit as well*.
Four years later, 16,000 hours with the help of volunteers, contractors, athletic trainers, research scientists, MDs, a local university and others, I Can Move Again is a reality.
Jack says a hundred things make his wellness center different, but he’ll name just one: “Our center was specifically designed for those suffering from arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome and other conditions that result in debilitating joint pain. Whether limping, walking with a cane, using a walker, or even using a wheelchair, those suffering with joint pain can restore health, hope and happiness in the face of that pain*!”
