PRSA Honors Gina Rubel with Maxine Elkin Award for Distinguished Service
DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (PRWEB) December 17, 2013 -- The Public Relations Society of America’s Philadelphia Chapter has awarded Gina F. Rubel, President and CEO of Furia Rubel Communications, with the Maxine Elkin Award for Distinguished Service. The award honors the late Maxine Elkin, a public relations professional who served as a great asset to the Philadelphia PRSA chapter and to her community.

The Maxine Elkin Award recognizes leaders who exemplify integrity and professionalism and share a commitment to advancing the profession of public relations. State Rep. Marguerite Quinn nominated Rubel for the award, which was presented at the PRSA Pepperpot Awards ceremony on Dec. 3, 2013 at Vie in Philadelphia.
