Prudential PenFed Realty Attending Local Stonebridge Fall Fest 5K to Benefit ‘Serve our Willing Warriors’
Washington (PRWEB) September 11, 2013 -- Prudential PenFed Realty’s Laura Evans will be attending the Stonebridge Fall Fest 5K this Saturday, September 14. The charity 5K race event will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the Potomac Town Center located at 14900 Potomac Town Place, Woodbridge, VA 22191. Proceeds from this event will go to the Serve Our Willing Warriors (SOWW) non-profit located in Haymarket, Va. SOWW’s mission is to provide a peaceful retreat, encouragement, and support to the “willing” warriors and their families during their recovery process.
“These willing warriors and their families have sacrificed so much for us. We can serve those who have served us so well,” said Laura Evans, REALTOR® with The Evans Team of Prudential PenFed Realty’s Lakeridge office.
This all day event starts off with the 5K run/walk at 9 a.m., followed by an 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. exhibition with over 50 vendors showing their support, and finishing up with a movie from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. The Evans Team will be sponsoring a booth so be sure to stop by and show your support for our willing warriors. The event will host plenty of family friendly activities throughout the day.
The funds earned from the event will go towards SOWW’s non-profit group whose goal is to have a fully functional Bull Run Warrior Retreat, an 11,000 square foot home on 44 acres in Haymarket, Va., up and running by the summer of 2014. Events such as the Stonebridge Fall Fest 5K are held to support the people and military heroes in our local communities.
