Prudential PenFed Realty Broker Completes Elite National Association of Realtors®’s Leadership Academy Program
San Antonio, Texas (PRWEB) December 26, 2013 -- Prudential PenFed Realty announced today that Scott Caballero, managing broker of its San Antonio locations, recently completed the National Associations of REALTORS®’s (NAR) 2013 Leadership Academy Program. This program, which began in 2008, identifies, inspires, and mentors emerging leaders from the local and state level for NAR.

NAR encourages REALTOR® members to apply for the program if they have leadership experience at the state and local levels. The Leadership Academy will provide applicants with the opportunity to be involved at the national level. Applicants are selected through a committee process by an Advisory Board and are interviewed by board members.
The elite few chosen for the program will have access to a multitude of opportunities. They will be able to have stimulating discussions with past and current NAR leadership, receive training to build strategic thinking, have access to expert resources, receive training through the world-renowned Pacific Institute, be given insights into different global views, and grow as a team member and team leader.
Caballero described his experience in the Leadership Academy’s 7-month (5 session) program, as an “excellent opportunity for leaders in the real estate industry to make themselves stronger leaders and excel in their real estate communities both locally and nationally.”
His experience required several trips to Orlando, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. to meet with industry leaders including current and past NAR presidents, REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC), and lobbyists in the nation’s capital. The program also exposed the program participants to different leadership styles and addressed global real estate concerns in addition to local and national issues.
