Prudential PenFed Realty Is Hosting “A Night For Military Heroes” Silent Auction and Art Show in Alexandria, Virginia
WASHINGTON (PRWEB) October 28, 2013 -- Prudential PenFed Realty’s Alexandria office will be hosting its annual fundraising event on Monday, November 4, 2013 starting at 6p.m. at 300 N. Washington Street, Suite 100, Alexandria, Va. 22314. This year’s event is named “A Night For Military Heroes” and will benefit the PenFed Foundation, a charitable organization providing grants and loans to military personnel, veterans and their families.
The event will include a silent auction featuring donations from local merchants, heavy hors d’oeuvres and wine*, a photo booth, and an art show featuring works from the “Del-Ray-geous” exhibit from the artists at the Del Ray Artisans Center.

Michele Reday Cook, president of the Del Ray Artisans, continues, “Our new exhibit is "Delrageous": Del Ray is a local neighborhood, but it’s more than just a place—it’s a creative community. DRA members created artwork focused on the outrageous, fun, and unique parts of the Del Ray neighborhood and community, now on display here.”
Last year’s silent auction event raised $5,000 for The Sunshine Kids Foundation. This year’s goal is to raise $8000 for our military heroes. This year’s silent auction donations include items from The Homestead Resort and Spa, Fitness Together, Sugar House Day Spa, Potomac River Boat Company, and many more.
