PSSC Labs Joins the Hortonworks Technology Partner Program

PSSC Labs will integrate the Hortonworks Data Platform (HDP) with its revolutionary Big Data Server platforms, including the Big Data D12000. The Big Data D12000 is the industry’s highest density server / storage platform, offering up to 12 x 3.5” hard disks (SATA / SAS) or 14 x 2.5” hard disks (SAS / SSD). The Big Data D12000 average power consumption is under 300 Watts. That represents nearly a 40 percent power savings compared to other server manufacturers. In addition, PSSC Labs is particularly interested in achieving the highest possible performance. Benchmarks show the Big Data D12000 can achieve sustained read / writes exceeding 150 MB/sec, a significant improvement over other server manufacturers.
