Psychiatrist and Hypnotherapist Release a Mobile App to Bring Anxiety Relief to Test-Takers Everywhere
Pearl River, NY (PRWEB) December 04, 2014 -- Board certified psychiatrist Dr. Lois Kroplick and hypnotherapist Craig Caliciotti have co-produced a new mobile app to relieve Test Anxiety. The app, developed by Superior Technology Solutions, is now available for download in the Apple store. Approximately a year in the making, the app will alleviate the symptoms of one of the major issues they see in their practices – test-related anxiety.
Kroplick and Caliciotti share an office suite in Pomona, NY, and have referred patients to one another for years. By using a combination of psychiatry and hypnotherapy, both saw patient improvement. They realized the importance of both approaches and crafted a way to collaborate and widely distribute their effective treatments – through an app.
Working closely with the two experts, the app was mapped and developed by Superior Technology Solutions. The Test Anxiety Relief app primarily targets students in grade school through graduate school but benefits test takers of any age. Both practitioners have worked with an array of students and have provided anxiety relief solutions prior to Bar exams, SATs, and even continuing education courses for professionals.
The app is designed to help maximize performance on exams while teaching the user effective strategies to help manage test anxiety. Features include general facts on test anxiety, self assessment tools, treatment information, and a series of audio recordings to help relax the user on the days leading up to an exam. The app is available for purchase in the Apple store for iPhone and iPAD use.
Finding the right team to execute Caliciotti and Kroplick’s vision was a challenge. Caliciotti noted, “We heard good things about Superior’s capabilities.
