Public Private Partnership to be Honored With 2015 DIA Regional Inspire Award for the Americas at the DIA 2015 51st Annual Meeting
Washington, DC (PRWEB) June 05, 2015 -- The Clinical Trials Transformation Initiative (CTTI) will be honored with a Regional Inspire Award for the Americas at DIA’s upcoming Annual Meeting. DIA’s Regional Inspire Awards program recognizes DIA’s outstanding volunteers for their leadership, level of excellence, and commitment to service.
CTTI will receive the Outstanding Contribution to Health Award that recognizes an organization that has made significant and innovative contributions to advancing health throughout the region.
“CTTI’s unique model that involves all stakeholders in the clinical trial process as equal partners to identify solutions is one that should be replicated across the industry,” said Susan Cantrell, senior vice president and managing director, DIA Americas. “The procedures and tools the organization has developed are streamlining and refining the process of conducting trials, ushering in a new gold standard in research development and leading to stronger evidence-based prevention and treatment options.”
CTTI, cofounded by Duke University and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and hosted by Duke, develops recommendations, tools and resources to enable a high quality, efficient clinical trial system. The organization studies current clinical trials processes, identifies impediments to beneficial change, and develops consensus-driven, evidence-based recommendations and solutions to improve clinical trials.
DIA’s annual Inspire Awards nominees must have a record of outstanding commitment to raising the level of health and wellbeing worldwide. For more information about DIA’s Inspire Award program, click here.
