PubNub Names Ariel Zach to Vice President of Engineering
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) June 18, 2015 -- PubNub, the leading Data Stream Network (DSN), announced today that Ariel Zach has been appointed vice president of Engineering. In this role, Ariel will be responsible for overseeing PubNub’s engineering operations and continue to drive innovation in product development.
Ariel brings more than 30 years of engineering and product development experience in building customer-focused teams and driving excellence in execution. Prior to PubNub, Ariel was senior vice president of Engineering at MarkMonitor®, a global leader in enterprise brand protection, where he introduced the agile methodology and optimized the company’s scalable SaaS technology protecting brands across multiple threat vectors. Before MarkMonitor, Ariel was vice president of Product Development at Model N, a leading provider of revenue management solutions for the life sciences and technology industries. While at Model N, Ariel doubled the engineering organization and helped the company grow from $50 million to $100 million in revenues and complete a successful IPO. Ariel also held numerous leadership roles at companies including Hyperion Solutions (acquired by Oracle), Quest Software (acquired by Dell) and others.

Ariel began his career at the prestigious software engineering education program of the Israeli Defense Forces, where he also served as an instructor. Ariel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University in Israel.
