Pump It Up "Rounds Up" Teddy Bears for Frederick City Police Department
Frederick, Maryland (PRWEB) November 19, 2014 -- Pump It Up of Frederick, part of the nation’s largest chain of kids’ indoor, inflatable entertainment venues, will host its 2nd Annual Teddy Bear Round Up to benefit the Frederick City Police Department.
Pump It Up invites parents and children to jump, slide and bounce on the facility’s huge, colorful inflatable structures on November 30th from 12pm - 5pm, encouraging families to jump for free with a Teddy Bear donation for each participating child. All Teddy Bears will be donated to the Frederick City Police Department.
The donated bears will be used by City Police Officers to comfort children exposed to traumatic situations, and to let the children know that the police are only there to help. Last years' event provided approximately 100 comforting bears (and other animals) to the Frederick City Police Department. This year's goal is to donate 150 bears.
