BIRMINGHAM, AL (PRWEB) March 26, 2015 -- Pumps & Systems MENA, the voice of the pump and rotating equipment industry in the Middle East and North Africa, is forging stronger connections with customers in Europe and the Middle East by opening a new sales office in Germany. Maik Ulmschneider, founder of Business Discovery Services, joins the bimonthly magazine as it expands its exclusive coverage into new international territories.

Ulmschneider brings a wealth of engineering and international sales experience to the Pumps & Systems MENA brand. He studied mechanical engineering and business administration at the Dresden University of Technology in Germany, and in 2001, he worked in business development for the German-Saudi Arabian Liaison Office for Economic Affairs in Riyadh. Afterward, he obtained a master’s degree in business and engineering from Dresden University and the St. Petersburg Technical University in Russia.

For more than a decade, Ulmschneider led global sales efforts at one of the world’s largest manufacturers of water and wastewater pump technology. He worked directly with customers from Europe and the Middle East to the U.S. and Asia. His proven knowledge of the pump industry and the international sales market will connect Pumps & Systems MENA clients—OEMs, end users, contractors and C-level executives—with the right marketing products to meet their goals.
The European sales office will be located at Reilstraße 18, 06114 Halle, Saale, Germany. Business Discovery Services also hosts sales offices in Birmingham, USA and Prague, Czech Republic.
