Pyramid Solutions Releases Pyramid eXpeditor 4.0 Featuring High-Speed Viewer
Bingham Farms, MI (PRWEB) December 15, 2016 -- Pyramid Solutions today released Pyramid eXpeditor (PX) 4.0, a collection of tools that extend IBM Case Manager and IBM Content Navigator capabilities to facilitate strategic characterization, searching and processing of structured and unstructured content for businesses.
PX 4.0 includes a brand-new Bookmarking Viewer, that promises significant performance advantages and boasts major enhancements to existing features like Bookmarks, Tags, Split/Merge and Search.

High-Speed Bookmarking Viewer
The new viewer navigates documents at lightning-fast speed and supports a variety of formats: PDF, TIFF, JPEG, BMP, GIF, Text, CSV, Rich Text, XML, HTML and most MS Office formats. While in the Bookmarking Viewer, users can create bookmarks, split a document into two documents, merge many documents together, or place tags on documents. For compatibility, the Bookmarking Viewer supports all IBM Daeja annotations.
Split/Merge Documents
Split/Merge is still a primary feature of PX 4.0 to make sending pages, assembling documents, and fixing errors a simple task. Users can easily remove a page from a document, merge pages and images into a document, or reorder the pages as-needed. The 4.0 enhancement gives users the ability to incorporate screen captures, password-protect outputs, and merge documents faster.
Content Explorer
Built to bridge IBM P8 and CMIS siloed repositories, Pyramid eXpeditor Content Explorer performs searches across multiple disparate repositories to find content no matter where it resides. Users can search for a document based on its properties, the specific process it was involved in, or what folder the document lives in, then filter the results based on predefined configurations, case filters, and authorization roles.
Tag Documents
Users will continue to enjoy the convenience of Tags in 4.0. to quickly understand the nature of a document – its status, location and purpose within a process.
Document Bookmarks
Bookmarking lets users characterize pages with key information to easily find it in the future. In Version 4.0 users can classify bookmarks into process-specific categories with view, add, edit and delete control managed by role. Now, multiple users can access and mark the same document without interfering with other applications.
The Bookmarking Viewer arranges bookmarks by category across all open documents. This one-click access to key information saves a significant amount of time and makes the user experience much more effective when decisions come from interrogating multiple documents.
