The new K.2 Series carries forward all the best traits of QSC’s Legacy K Series, including onboard DSP filters for precise crossover and equalization, and Intrinsic Correction™ voicing for optimal performance. The speakers’ DMT™ (Directivity Matched Transition) design ensures a consistent response across the coverage area, and in spite of their positively feral power rating, the K.2 Series’ sophisticated onboard processing minimizes distortion and risk of damage to speaker components, even at the highest volume levels. All K.2 Series speakers are also appointed with low-noise fans that provide effective yet unobtrusive cooling.
Set it and forget it
Each K.2 Series speaker includes a built-in multi-function digital display, making control and selection of loudspeaker settings—from input and delay to EQ and cross-over—easy. QSC has taken the guesswork out of setup by providing a library of preset contours that lets you dial in the right sound for must-have patterns like Stage Monitor, Vocal Monitor, Dance Music, Musical Instrument Amplification, Hand-held Microphone and more. Users can also configure and save their own custom contours for instant recall.
Each K.2 Series loudspeaker includes a pair of balanced combo XLR/F plus 1/4” TRS connectors with independent gain control. DJs and mobile sound enthusiasts will appreciate the speakers’ 3.5 mm TRS input jacks with independent gain control, which provide a dependable connection to sources like smartphones, laptops and MP3 players.
Versatility and good looks
QSC K.2 Series powered loudspeakers are perfect for use as a main PA or as floor monitors, and can also be flown, wall- or truss-mounted or placed on a speaker pole, either straight-firing or with a 7.5-degree down-tilt. K.2 Series speakers are also engineered with less-obtrusive M10 fasteners for suspended applications and offer an improved center of gravity for easier pole mounting. On the eight-inch model, QSC has increased the monitor angle to 55° for improved onstage reference.
