Quadrant2Design welcomes new Design Manager
Poole, Dorset (PRWEB UK) 8 July 2015 -- Quadrant2Design announced today that Ross Pike has been promoted to the role of Design Manager, a role that encompasses leading both the CAD and Graphic Design departments.
Ross, who is an Industrial Design graduate of the Dorset-based higher education institute, Bournemouth University, has been with the company since August 2014, when he started within the company’s in-house CAD design team, creating the 3D imaging and renders of Prestige Exhibition Stands for clients.
Prior to Quadrant2Design, Ross gained experience working as both a freelance designer and for Disney, within their licensing department, aiding with graphic design and rendering for consumer products.
“As a designer, I believe functionality is key. Quadrant2Design gives me the opportunity to construct both beautiful designs and clever, usable environments, which together create striking exhibition stands for our huge variety of clients.”
Ross continues, “This role is a great opportunity for me to bring my 3D knowledge to the 2D processes, allowing for a more fluid process, from design to creation, for our clients. I look forward to working closely with clients and helping to bring their exhibition ideas and designs to life, ensuring that they have the best show possible.”
Quadrant2Design is the UK’s exclusive supplier of the Swiss-designed modular exhibition solution, Prestige Events System. The company, which was founded in 1999, has had great success over the years and continues to grow as one of the UK’s leading exhibition contractors, all while keeping the small company mentality and completing every process in-house, all under one roof in their Poole office and showroom.
Alan Jenkins, Managing Director of Quadrant2Design is extremely pleased to have Ross on board as their new Design Manager. “Ross is an extremely skilled and talented individual. With his in-depth knowledge of 3D CAD design, and fantastic eye for detail, Ross is perfect for this role and will bring together the two departments of CAD and Graphic Design in a coherent and seamless manner. We look forward to seeing the designs that he produces in the future, and the impact he has on the departments.”
