QualiTest to Hire Per Scholas’ Software Testing Graduates
Fairfield, CT and Bronx, NY (PRWEB) November 06, 2013 -- QualiTest, the world’s second largest software and QA testing company and the largest in the USA, announced today that it is in the process of hiring recent software testing graduates from Per Scholas, a national nonprofit providing free educational services and IT career support for people in underserved communities. Following a recent visit to one of Per Scholas’ campuses to give a talk and meet the students of its first software testing program, QualiTest is now looking to hire the entire graduating class.

"We’ve been hiring 50 employees every month, and it’s a great boon to our company that we can take on a group of hand-picked individuals who’ve been trained by the likes of James Bach and Paul Holland. Per Scholas works prominently in the Bronx serving residents from all five boroughs, and is in the process of expanding to other areas around the country. "Since 1998, more than 4,500 adults have enrolled in our flagship IT-Ready job training and placement offerings in New York, Cincinnati and Columbus, OH," said Plinio Ayala, President and CEO of Per Scholas. "The graduates are working today in hundreds of corporations, nonprofits, and government agencies. We conservatively estimate their collective earnings exceed $150 million per year."
