Quanta QCT Simplifies, Clarifies Brand With Name Change to “Quanta Cloud Technology (QCT)”
FREMONT, Calif. (PRWEB) July 29, 2014 -- Quanta QCT announced today that it has rebranded itself under the simpler moniker, Quanta Cloud Technology, or QCT.
“It’s a straightforward and elegant change that simply makes clear who we are,” said Mike Yang, general manager, QCT. “This more refined branding makes clear that we’re in the business of delivering the most efficient cloud datacenter hardware available. Nothing else has changed. We’re the same organization of exceptional people, facilities and technologies.”
QCT launched in 2012 as Quanta QCT with an office and manufacturing facilities in Fremont, Calif.; Shanghai, China and Tao Yuan, Taiwan. Since then, the company has added facilities in Nashville, Tenn., Seattle, Wash.; Beijing and Chongqing, China; and Seoul, Korea. Before the end of this year, QCT will open additional locations in China, as well as Japan and Europe.
