Quantum Spatial Expands State and Regional Team with New Managers in Midwest and Mountain Regions
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (PRWEB) May 08, 2018 -- Quantum Spatial, Inc. (QSI), the nation’s largest independent geospatial data firm, today announced that it has expanded its state and regional team with the addition of two new account managers, Kirk M. Contrucci and Jennifer Stefanacci. Contrucci will focus on the Midwest, while Stefanacci will cover the Mountain region.
"State and regional organizations are using remote sensing and geospatial technologies in increasingly sophisticated ways, including applications for planning and infrastructure development,” said Robert Vander Meer, vice president of Business Development at QSI. “Jennifer and Kirk bring a wealth of experience and deep relationships that will be valuable in extending QSI’s reach into these sectors.”
Contrucci is a veteran in the geospatial and aerial mapping fields, with more than 33 years of experience. The majority of his career was spent growing and leading Wisconsin-based aviation, aerial mapping, remote sensing and land surveying companies. He has solid experience at all levels of projects and operations, including executive management, business development, business planning and personnel management. His accomplishments include designing, developing and leading one of the largest ongoing aerial imagery and LIDAR programs in U.S. civil marketplace history.
Contrucci earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geography from University of Wisconsin-Madison and is registered as a Certified Photogrammetrist by the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. He serves on the board of multiple professional organizations, including his current duties as president of ASPRS’s Western Great Lakes Chapter and treasurer of the Geospatial Information and Technology Association’s Wisconsin Chapter.
Stefanacci comes from the City and County of Denver, where she served as director of Application Management. In this role, she managed several teams, including the GIS group, which worked to improve the quality and stability of more than 300 products delivered to city agencies, including situational awareness dashboards, street and highway databases, and spatial-enabled work order tracking systems. Prior to this, she held product management roles at Statera and DigitalGlobe, as well as Exelis Visual Information Systems (formerly ITT VIS, now Harris), where she led the product management and development teams in doubling the application portfolio of geospatial solutions, including desktop and enterprise/SaaS solutions. Earlier in her career, she was director of Geospatial Services at the United States Geological Survey (USGS) Rocky Mountain Geographic Science Center, where she worked with government stakeholders to identify new opportunities and increase the use of advanced image and GIS processing.
