Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) December 16, 2015 -- John Blackwell, a QC Analyst and Consultant for Quest Advisors, Inc. has earned the Certified Residential Underwriter (CRU) designation from the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA).
The CRU certification is the highest professional designation for residential underwriters, according to MBA Education, the Mortgage Bankers Association’s education division. The CRU recognizes Blackwell’s knowledge, experience, and education as well as his commitment to the industry.
“John is a key part of our team and this recognition reflects his personal effort and his commitment to our clients,” said Charles Sewright, President and CEO of Quest Advisors.
"We commend John Blackwell for his hard work and dedication to professional development," said Jeff Schummer, MBA’s Vice President of Education. “The CRU Designation is the mark of excellence in the residential underwriting arena.”
To earn the CRU designation, candidates must first complete two certifications: the Residential Underwriting Achievement Certificate and the Residential Underwriting Professional Certificate. These certificates create the foundation for the CRU. A comprehensive exam is required before the CRU is earned.
