R&B Climate Control Donates 250 Pounds of Food to Fort Mill Care Center

Fort Mill, SC (PRWEB) November 20, 2014 -- In order to help local families this Thanksgiving holiday, R&B Climate Control’s technicians have been collecting canned foods and non-perishables from their customers and R&B's employees for The Fort Mill Care Center over the last month. “We just dropped off our donations today weighing in at 75lbs, along with fifteen, twelve pound turkeys we purchased, totaling 255 pounds of food for our community,” said Office Manager, Heather Worley.

The Fort Mill Care Center is a volunteer run non-profit organization of concerned citizens who address the immediate needs of other citizens within the town of Fort Mill, South Carolina. The Care Center has been in operation since 1967, helping families who find themselves in need of basic necessities, such as assistance with food, fuel, power, heat, and medicine.

“The Fort Mill Care Center continues to exist because of community support. We are very proud to have companies like R & B Climate Control willing to take the time to help local citizens. Thank you for your effort,” said Carol Higgins, Director of The Fort Mill Care Center.
