Full spectral calibration of the spectrometer is performed prior to delivery and the device includes a highly sensitive InGaAs linear image sensor and high performance 16-bit DAC capable of high speed acquisition. Data is passed to a PC via a USB 2.0 Hi-speed connection, which also acts as a stand-alone power source.
A user-friendly software package and software drivers are included with the system. The drivers using a simple but effective software architecture for maximum ease of use and speed of integration into OEM applications.
From an engineering perspective, it boasts not only the smallest footprint in the market for its class, but no moving parts. Which is a good thing when it comes to its reliability for use in OEM and scientific applications.
The SeaWave IR is an ideal tool for many applications in the pharmaceutical, petrochemical and food industries where a compact and reliable spectrometer with good resolution is required. It can also be used for laser characterisation purposes in the scientific sector.
