Radiopaque Solutions Announces New X-Ray Visible Bin Identification System, RadMark System Installed at Airport Security Checkpoints
Bonita Springs, FL (PRWEB) March 29, 2014 -- Radiopaque Solutions, Inc. the industry leader in the design and application of x-ray visible materials technology, has released the RadMark scanner bin Identification System for use in both aviation and non-aviation applications. The system is now available for use in airport, nuclear, military, law enforcement and general security environments.
Radiopaque Solutions' CEO Thomas Lachner, explains the system: "The RadMark bin identification system is based upon a simple concept. If you can see it, you can identify it. A uniquely identifiable, x-ray visible, tag is placed under the rim of each bin. The identification code on the radiopaque tag matches the identification label on the bin. When the scanner operator selects a bin to be checked it is visually identified on the scanner screen by the ID number. The bin can then be easily segregated for further screening through visually matching the bin label."
The system has been tested in both United States and Canadian aviation security environments and shown to be an effective tool to greatly enhance the scanner operators' efficiency. Offsite scanner image viewing is now possible with the ability to remotely identify bins passing through the scanner.
Lachner said: "Throughput and efficiency are the name of the game in high density security environments. The RadMark system's ability to enhance threat assessment, while making passage through check points faster, puts the security team one step ahead of those using blind systems. If you are not uniquely identifying the bins in your system how do you really know what is passing through your scanners."
The system is available only through Radiopaque Solutions, Inc.
