Radish.org Begins Campaign to End World Hunger By 2020
Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) December 03, 2015 -- The Community Café of Rosamond, CA, sponsored by Jamen Shively & colleagues at Radish.org, will launch its ambitious campaign to end world hunger by 2020 at the 2015 Parade of Lights, which will be held Saturday December 5th at Aqua Azul located at 2660 Diamond St. Rosamond, CA 93560. A completely free dinner will be served to all from 3:30pm- 6pm.
The Community Café is a global enterprise, founded by Radish.org and funded by the Compassionate Economy. The Café’s mission is to feed everyone, regardless of ability to pay. Our global mission is to establish and operate Community Cafes around the world, including places where there is drought and famine, with the goal of eradicating world hunger by 2020.
As it grows, the Compassionate Economy will become a powerful economic engine that funds Community Cafes in any community in the world as part of the Radish solution to world hunger.
Radish is proud to launch the Community Café concept in Rosamond, California, with an aim to take the Cafés worldwide in the near future. The Community Café at the 2015 Parade of Lights is the start of an amazing journey! The Compassionate Economy, which is forming to fund the eradication of hunger worldwide, consists of compassionate companies, which a) contribute 100% of their profits to permanently eradicating world hunger by 2020; and operate in ways which are both b) socially transformational, and c) environmentally transformational. The world’s first Compassionate Company, under this framework, is Sato Hemp which is a Japanese Fashion House, based in Tokyo, Japan. As it grows, the Compassionate Economy will become a powerful economic engine that funds Community Cafes in any community in the world as part of the Radish solution to world hunger.
