Radius Networks and Mobisfera Bring iBeacon Scavenger Hunt to Mobile World Congress 2014
Washington, DC (PRWEB) February 11, 2014 -- Radius Networks, Inc., the leading provider of mobile proximity services, today announced that it has partnered with mobile marketing and social media experts Mobisfera to bring the MWC Challenge iBeacon Scavenger Hunt to the 2014 Mobile World Congress to be held in Barcelona, February 24 through February 27.
iBeacons are short range, Bluetooth Low Energy transmitters that can notify mobile devices when they come within 100 feet of the beacon. This micro-location proximity awareness can be leveraged to deliver a wide range of new innovative solutions, such as precision indoor navigation, automatic ticketing, guided museum tours and location-relevant offers and promotions. The MWC Challenge iBeacon Scavenger Hunt, debuting at the 2014 Mobile World Congress, will be exclusively powered by RadBeacon high-performance iBeacons from Radius Networks.
