The Raleigh police officers are already making 1500 arrests a year, give or take a few, just on DWI infractions. About 250 of those arrests this past year came the the 'Booze it or Lose it' campaign enacted by the Wake County police system. If you're going by precedence, the more resources the police department is able to put into stopping and arresting drivers under the influence the more arrests they can make and the safer our roadways become.
