Ramtech Building Systems to Showcase Modular Buildings at the 2014 Texas Charter Schools Conference in Houston

The conference is expected to draw over 1,300 attendees from across the state, including administrators, board members, policy makers, and teachers interested in training, networking, sharing best practices and viewing the latest in industry-leading products and services. The Texas Charter Schools Conference is an annual gathering hosted by the Texas Charter Schools Association, a statewide association created in 2008 to focus on accelerating student achievement in Texas by empowering a diverse set of effective and quality driven charter schools. The Association represents 90% of the estimated 178,000 charter students that are enrolled at the 552 charter school campuses in Texas. Over the last five years Texas has seen an average annual growth rate of 15% for students in open enrollment charter schools, and the state currently has more than 100,000 students on waiting lists. Texas charter schools receive state funds based on the average daily attendance of students, however they do not receive state facilities funding.
