Randall Blair Isenberg Named Best Lawyers In Dallas By D Magazine
dallas, tx (PRWEB) May 10, 2017 -- Randall B. Isenberg, Dallas criminal defense attorney, was awarded “Best Criminal Lawyers” by D magazine for the fourth year. Isenberg was awarded this in 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017. The D magazine award is a peer honor — only lawyers with Texas bar numbers are allowed to nominate attorneys outside of their firms. An anonymous panel of attorneys then meets with editors and makes the final decision.
“It’s a significant honor, because it’s a peer nomination,” Isenberg said. Attorneys generally nominate opponents they observe in court or oppose on cases. With over 15,000 attorneys in the greater Dallas area, only 687 are honored for their various specialties.
Isenberg has been on all sides of the legal area. He is a former Senior Chief Felony Prosecutor and State District Criminal Trial Judge. He is prominently known in Dallas and is a regular TV commentator for criminal justice issues.
He has been in private practice as a criminal defense lawyer since 1990.

Isenberg was a senior chief felony prosecutor for Dallas County’s District Attorneys Office for six years and then a judge in the County Criminal Court #10 and State District Court for another five years. He founded his private practice in 1990.
The Texas native and his wife, Lori, have two daughters. The family is heavily involved in the local community, volunteering and donating to food banks, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, the George W. Bush Presidential Library, The Greenhill School and the Holocaust Museum. He is an active alumnus of Rice University and SMU.
He is also listed in the Martindale-Hubbell's Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, which is the highest rating afforded to an attorney. He has been named one of the "Texas Super Lawyers” in 2006 and 2007, printed in Texas Monthly Magazine, and is Board Certified in Criminal Defense by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is certified as a Criminal Defense Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA).
