Randall Reed Family and Best Buddies Headed to Disney World

Students from the Best Buddies chapter at Kingwood Park High School took in the sights and sounds of the Disney World theme park and Universal Orlando Resort. The Reed Family, and various generous donors, helped to make this trip a reality and were thrilled to join up with the children in Florida and be part of a truly special adventure. Kingwood Park High School Best Buddies is part of a non-profit 50(c)(3) global organization of volunteers and students dedicated to creating opportunities for one-to-one friendships between students with intellectual development disabilities and their student peers. Best Buddies also provides students with a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills.
The Florida trip is a result of the Reed's memorable and moving visits to the Best Buddies program in Humble, TX. “These families rarely, if ever, have the time or resources to take a vacation together, much less to a place as magical as Disney,” Sherry Reed said. “Now, they all get to travel together, family and friends, on a fairytale getaway. We are thankful to be part of the journey.”
