Randolph Savings Bank Surprises Community with Random Acts of Kindness
Stoughton, MA (PRWEB) March 04, 2016 -- Randolph Savings Bank delivered even more kindness to its communities in 2015 than it did when it launched its Randolph Acts of Kindness program in 2014. With this program, RSB strives to make a positive difference in south shore communities by delivering spontaneous, unexpected kindnesses to members of its surrounding neighborhoods.
Randolph Savings Bank takes pride in its community involvement. Throughout the year, the bank remains engaged with the community through various events such as its document Shred Days, a free event hosted by the bank to allow its customers to protect their personal information by safely shredding sensitive documents, and collecting toys during the holiday season with Toys for Tots. Randolph Acts of Kindness was developed as a way they could do even more, and in a variety of ways.

Team RSB kicked off the year by delivering hot coffee and doughnuts to the crews of the Randolph, Stoughton and Holbrook Departments of Public Works to thank them for their important work. With the record snow fall experienced in Massachusetts last winter, road crews worked hard to keep our roads and sidewalks cleared and safe.
In February, Randolph Savings Bank surprised families at Town Spa Pizza in Stoughton and Stop & Taste in Randolph. Members from Team RSB were delighted to let diners know that Randolph Savings Bank would be picking up their tab for that evening’s meal.
Who doesn’t love a sweet treat occasionally? On June 5, Randolph Savings Bank celebrated National Doughnut Day by dropping by many local businesses to deliver doughnuts. RSB employees had a terrific time bringing a little sweetness to the south shore.
Later in June, Randolph Savings Bank employees took to the streets handing out bottles of cool water on a warm day to members of the community in thanks for once again voting Randolph Savings Bank the Wicked Local Favorite Community Bank in Randolph and Stoughton.
Since summer days are made brighter with ice cream sandwiches from Daddy’s Dairy, in July Team RSB loaded up coolers and headed to Powers Farm, Sumner Field and Halloran Park to share scrumptious ice cream sandwiches with the community. It’s always a treat to get a chance to get to know the members of the community!
A holiday tailor made for Randolph! The team was eager to share some Randolph Acts of Kindness with the community on November 13 – World Kindness Day. Armed with tasty personalized cookies from Tito’s Cakes, members of Randolph Savings Bank shared kindness throughout our communities making surprise visits to customers and local businesses to share a little bit of Randolph joy!
Gas prices have been dropping but when was the last time it was that low? People who stopped by the Randolph Automotive Servicenter on November 18 paid just over a dollar a gallon – discounted gas prices courtesy of Randolph Savings Bank. For a limited time, RSB team members were manning the pumps, delivering a bit of the full-service treatment that the bank is known for along with a pretty hefty discount on a fill up.
The holiday season couldn’t go by without sending our RSB Elves out to share a bit of holiday magic! In the bank’s final Randolph Act of Kindness of 2015, three shoppers at Emerald Square Mall were randomly selected to receive a $75 mall gift certificate. What a way to make the season brighter!
The year may be over, but the kindness is just beginning. Randolph Savings Bank is already working on plans to bring more kindness into 2016.
