Duane is based in Raleigh, NC, supporting clients throughout the United States. He is responsible for leading a team of pre-sales engineers, architecting complex cloud computing solutions, and providing product marketing support to the RapidScale (http://rapidscale.net/) sales and executive teams. Duane has over 18 years of experience working in IT, with expertise in complex data center solutions, managed hosting projects, cloud computing, virtualization, storage, networking, disaster recovery, security, and more.
Prior to joining RapidScale, Duane was a Cloud Specialist at Intelisys, dedicated to partners in the Southeast Region. He encouraged sales partners to clearly define the technology and/or business problem that needed to be solved with a cloud solution to better understand the bigger picture on behalf of their clients. Duane also held positions as Vice President of Presales and Professional Services at Open-Xchange, and Director of Solutions Engineering at Windstream Hosted Solutions (now TierPoint). Duane holds industry certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, CompTIA, HP, and EMC.
