Ray Donovan's Octavius Johnson Teases a Possible Return in Season Two and Working with Jon Voight and Liev Schreiber on AfterBuzz TV
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 24, 2013 -- Ray Donovan's Octavius Johnson, who portrays Marvin Gaye Washington on the show, made an appearance on AfterBuzz TV's Ray Donovan aftershow Sunday night. In his appearance, Johnson talks about his character's potential return in season two and his experiences working with actors like Jon Voight and Liev Schreiber.
Octavius Johnson on returning to the series for season two:
Johnson says, “I’m in the same boat as you... I think all of the [characters] besides Ray Donovan. Liev Schreiber, he’s in like every episode... That’s how it works. You never know what’s going on. So you just enjoy it while you’re in the moment and enjoy while you have the opportunity and do the best job you can and that’s what I did. I was only supposed to be in two episodes and they put me in six.”

“I watch them, I really study them and I’ve learned a lot,” Johnson states. “Even from the things they don’t say, you know. But they are really just encouraging and they give you the answers if you ask them a question. I actually had lunch with Jon Voight one day on set and he was just telling us that we’re actually in the best kind of school right now... And yeah, just working you learn a lot from all the veterans and I’m so honored to be working with them all. From Pooch [Hall] from The Game to Eddie Marsan..., Dash Mihok, [and] Jon Voight from everything.”
