Ray Rice Charitable Fund’s School Supply Drive Partners with the Creig Northrop Team
Columbia, MD (PRWEB) July 15, 2013 -- The Creig Northrop Team of Long & Foster Real Estate, which represents buyers and sellers of residential real estate in the Baltimore-Washington region, partnered with the Ray Rice Charitable Fund to be the official drop-off sites for the Fund’s annual school supply drive. The Ray Rice Charitable Fund, established by Ravens football player Ray Rice, supports underprivileged children.
“We are proud to support the Ray Rice Charitable Fund in their mission to empower today's youth. Donated school supplies can be dropped off at the following Northrop Team locations until July 31, 2013:
• 1036 Circle Drive, Sykesville, Md.: Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• 12345 Wake Forest Road, Suite F, Clarksville, Md.: Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.
to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• 11620 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Md.: Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• 1407 York Road, Suite 108, Timonium, Md.: Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"This is my fourth year doing back-to-school," Rice said. "Each year the donations increase and the amount I match increases as well, but, unfortunately, so does the need. This year we are on track to supply nearly 1,500 kids with the tools they need to learn, but we will receive requests for approximately 7,500. It's so important for these kids to show up on the first day of school with a backpack and supplies, not only because they need the physical things like glue sticks and pencils, but it goes a long, long way toward raising self-esteem, confidence, and even bullying prevention when they show up prepared.”
