Raymond Lochala’s New Book “What Happens When Your Mate Dies?” is an Emotional and Telling Memoir of Love and Loss
(PRWEB) July 31, 2015 -- Raymond Lochala, a Christian, teacher, family-man, writer and author, has completed his new book “What Happens When Your Mate Dies?”: a gripping and potent journey into the emotional process of accepting a love ones’ death and finding faith.
“Dear reader, in your distress, God wants you to call upon him. As he helped me, so he will help you,” said author Raymond Lochala.
Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Raymond Lochala’s inspiring tale tells a story of how God can be a savior during times of trials and tribulations.
“Marceil and I were married for 60 years, minus 5 months. We were very close together. Both of us worked in public jobs. Both of us would cook; both of us would buy groceries; both of us would clean house every Saturday. Where she went, I went. Where I went, she went to. So you can see we were very close. We enjoy each other’s’ company. Marceil, when she was in her late seventies, had open heart surgery. She lived for six more years. I remember after we had laid her to rest that final day and everyone had left; I went in to fix my bed. I was in our house all alone. I kept listening for a voice. At night time, we did most of our talking. No voice could I hear. I broke down. I knew that my well had run dry and I needed help. I went to my heavenly Father and there God met me and began to talk to me. I found a river of water that flowed from the throne of God. This is what gave birth to this book,” explained author Raymond Lochala while describing the premise of his new memoir.
