Raymond V. Tamasi to Speak on Defining Your Business in the New Era of Behavioral Healthcare at NCAD 2015

Over the past 42 years, Mr. Tamasi has led Gosnold on Cape Cod from its start as a small detox unit to its current status as a regional resource for treatment and education. Now with 55 beds, female and male residential treatment programs, seven outpatient sites, a rehabilitation program and two gender-specific residences, Gosnold is still working toward the future.
A pioneer in the field, Tamasi was among the first in the industry to recognize the value of opiate-blocking medication therapy using Vivitrol (naltrexone). To support the local community, he also has leveraged his vision to eradicate addiction by creating the Prevention and Early Intervention program that educates students, parents, educators and the community on the negative effects of drug and alcohol abuse.
