RBRO Solutions streamlines for growth

Since the inception of the company in 2003, RBRO Solutions has functioned under the Co-Chief Executive Officers (Co-CEOs) of John Russell and Howard Russell. “This model has served the company well for the last 13 years,” said John Russell. “But now is the time for change, allowing our clients and our partners to benefit even more from a streamlined RBRO.”
Effective September 30, 2016, John Russell will transition from his role as Co-CEO to that of Chairman of the Board for the company. This change provides for the realignment of the organization under Howard Russell as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of RBRO Solutions.
“This change will facilitate a renewed focus on future innovation. Our global team will continue to deliver the services and solutions that have solidified our reputation for excellence,” said Howard Russell.
To ensure their continued global growth it was important for RBRO Solutions to bring on a strong and successful individual in the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO); an individual who aligned with the vision and culture of RBRO. With the finalization of their search, RBRO is pleased to announce that Dennis Croft has been hired as the COO of RBRO Solutions. Dennis will join the senior executive team on Monday, September 19, 2016, reporting to Howard Russell, CEO. Today’s announcement of Dennis joining RBRO marks a major milestone as they progress towards their new vision and implementation of their growth strategy.
Dennis was most recently the President and CEO of the Spark Regional Innovation Centre which focused on advising over 750 clients in startups and growing technology companies in the areas of big data, wearable technology, enterprise software, small business solutions and mobile applications.

Dennis’ background includes executive positions in both Canadian and international technology and innovation organizations. He has directly managed and lead global teams in various functions such as strategy, sales, marketing, professional services, support, finance, information technology and human resources. Prior to joining the Spark Center in 2011, he served as Executive Director at Desire2Learn (enterprise education software). Additionally, Dennis spent over five years at OpenText in various executive positions including Senior Vice President, in which he oversaw a $95 million P&L and 250 sales and professional services employees. Dennis has also held various management positions with companies such as HP, SHL Systemhouse, EDS and Compaq. He holds an MBA from Laurentian University and has a CPA designation.
