RE/MAX Realtor Roberta Steckler on a Mission of Giving as Mrs. Claus
Greenwood Village, CO (PRWEB) December 18, 2015 -- “My most recent foray as Mrs. Claus was at Mount Saint Vincent, a treatment center for kids with behavioral and emotional issues,” said Roberta, who has volunteered at Mount Saint Vincent for three years. “It was a very touching experience for me as well as a wonderful opportunity for the children to meet Mrs. Claus and put a smile of hope on their faces.”
Mount Saint Vincent treats children ages 5 to 12 who face severe behavioral and emotional challenges due to trauma, mental illness, abuse or neglect. It specializes in delivering behavioral health services to children and their families, helping children reach their full potential within their homes, schools and communities.
Roberta has also had the pleasure of posing as Mrs. Claus at the Christmas Day Chophouse event, the MIRACLE, where she has volunteered for eight years, for low-income and homeless people in Denver. The MIRACLE is a project of the Chophouse Foundation where thousands of homeless and needy children and adults come for Christmas dinner, gifts and a chat with Mr. and Mrs. Claus. This event has become an annual tradition of feeding the less fortunate and an opportunity of giving back, which is Roberta’s mission as Mrs. Clause.
“I absolutely love spending time and sharing the love with the special children of Mount Saint Vincent and the people at Chophouse,” said Roberta. “I am excited to continue being Mrs. Santa Claus for years to come.”
