In her new role, Farag will be responsible for business development and SBA 7(a) loan originations in Georgia, reporting to Vice President, Sales Manager, George Andreaus.
Farag has over 25 years of comprehensive lending experience, primarily focused in closing U.S. Small Business Administration loans, both for the 7(a) loan program and the 504 loan program, as well as in the acquisition, development, financing and sale of commercial properties in the metropolitan Atlanta area. She also has extensive experience in representing small business owners and operators in lending transactions.
Prior to joining ReadyCap Lending LLC, Farag served as Senior Vice President for Bank of Atlanta. Throughout her career, she has been consistently recognized as a top performer in various senior management positions with major financial institutions including: Marine Midland Bank, Bank of America, SunTrust Bank and First Citizens Bank.
Farag received the honor of SBAP’s Top Lender of the Year Award twice, consecutively in 2012 and 2013. She successfully managed a commercial loan portfolio of over $120 MM.
